Britney Spears launched her "comeback" at the San Diego House of Blues last night by lipsyncing a 14-minute set! Can you believe that? A whole 14 minutes! If you paid $200 for your ticket, that is just over $14 per minute to watch a former pop star dance and slink around on stage like a 6th grade talent show. While watching Britney flounder around on stage in this video, all I could think about was an aging George Reeves (the guy that played Superman in the 50's that killed himself or was murdered depending on who you ask) trying to recapture his fame and youth by attempting to become a professional wrestler only to fail because of his ailing body and alcoholism. (if that analogy doesn't work for you insert "Aging Boxer" getting pummeled into the mat or Vince Neil) On a side note, now I know why Britney has been walking the streets of Los Angeles looking like a stripper for the past 2 months, she was testing out stage costumes.

I agree and I've never even listened to but one of her songs. Give the girl some credit she tried to put this "practice" run on in secret and because of hmmmmm let me see a bunch of no life photographers it was leaked and THEN the ticket prices went up. Otherwise Britney was only making the regular HOB fair.

People that do nothing with their lives have a hard time seeing the purpose in driven people's lives.

Hey splash is right this is a tacky performance why didn't she go to some nice club and put something on. She knew everyone would find out about it. It looks like a drag queen talent show. Seriously. And for god sake sing britney!!!

this wasnt meant to be a comeback performance..god! all artists when coming back to the scene do things like this..she didnt want it to be as big as it got..she wanted people with little to no expectatoins..people who had no idea who they were going to go see to come there..shes not ready to make her comeback yet!! thats why she did this..to get prepared..you people are such idiots and are so quick to try and say shes over..SHES NEVER GOING TO BE OVER!!! GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS!!!

Ouah, I do think she looks like crap and the show looks like a desperate act but what makes me wonder is how comes that no matter how trashy she looks, no matter how gross she behaves, no matter what she does, the press still talks about her and people still are fascinated.

Mediocrity leads the way, I am telling you... The same with Paris, Lindsay, Nicole etc
