Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and husband Pete Wentz welcomed a son late last night.
Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed in at 7 pounds 11 ounces. "Ashlee, Pete and Baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!" a spokesperson for the pair said.
It has been reported that the pop star pair named their child 'Mowgli' after the famous character from, 'The Jungle Book'.
Simpson, 24, was spotted leaving her home Thursday morning and heading straight to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
It was reported that Ashlee arrived at the hospital shortly after 8am, and doctors induced her labour.
Fall Out Boy guitarist Wentz and her big sister Jessica were believed to be at the hospital to support Ashlee.
While her assistant and her father Joe reportedly showed up at the West Hollywood medical center later in the afternoon. Congratulations from Splash.

Fall Out Boy husband, Pete Wentz and her father, Joe.
She's been there all day so it's presumed that doctors induced labor sometime this morning!

Robert Pattinson continued his media assault by visiting Tyra Banks' talk show today. We spotted the two of them filming scenes on the streets of New York City.

After a long day of filming Sherlock Holmes and dodging questions that he and wife Madonna have come to a divorce settlement, Guy Ritchie stepped out for dinner with his sons Rocco and David at La Vina restaurant in Liverpool.
The word is the divorce could be finalized tomorrow.

Kristen Stewart is on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight. The
Twilight star is promoting her new movie which opens in theaters across the country tomorrow. Most of the opening night screenings are already sold out so if you don't have a ticket for the big night, you better get one fast.
Earlier in the day her co-star Robert Pattinson appeared on the
