Paul McCartney and Heather Mills appeared in London's High Court today for a preliminary hearing in their divorce case. Former Beatle whistled and snapped his fingers as he left the building, and then flashed a peace sign to photographers. Is this a big hint as to how it's going for Heather? She left the courts looking glum, but then gave a hint of a smile as she drove off. Perhaps she thought Paul's peace sign was for her?
The former model, 38, and the 64-year-old musician separated last May after four years of marriage and began divorce proceedings in July. They have a 3-year-old daughter, Beatrice.

Photographers reported that John Mayer tried unsuccessfully to shield his 'girlfriend' Jessica Simpson from the press in New York. The couple were on the way to a concert and I think it's very cute how Jessica's man is being all protective over her. They look great together. I wonder if he will write a song about her?

Anna Nicole Smith's designer Pol Atteu hands over the last gown the star will ever wear at Miami Airport last night. Going by the pink threads peeking from the cover, Anna Nicole is still going to be shaking a tail feather from her coffin. The colour of the gown seems a suitable pink, shame he dragged it along the floor and stood on it. Fool.

Carbon copies of the Oscar dresses are for sale to the public days after the awards. Hours after the Oscars finished, Designer Allen B Schwartz and his team made copies of their six favourite gowns from the night and put them up for sale. For as little as $350 people can buy the same design that was worn by Nicole Kidman and at a fraction of the cost.
