That must have been one intense d
rug and alcohol meeting this afternoon because Amy Winehouse headed straight to the pub and knocked back a shot! After her shot, she sat in the back of pub where she worked on a crossword puzzle before heading off to another pub to meet up with some mates.
Wait, Amy does crossword puzzles? Maybe that's how we get through to her. 1 Down: Derailment (two words). 1 Across: Derailment (two words). 47 across: Has-been UK pop star (look in mirror).

Brinkley was looking forward to giving Cook his Internet bill
Christie Brinkley has confessed in court that she just does not understand how Peter Cook could spend $3,000 a month on Internet pornography. Like the rest of us, she is bemused by his antics and was crying when she gave evidence about her husband. Apparently, he masturbated in front of a webcam amongst other things. The model said this about him: "I mean, sneaking out of the house when you've got beautiful, loving children there, to go choose instead to masturbate on the World Wide Web, just makes me worry about his judgment".
Peter Cook is no doubt going to take the Charlie Sheen/Michael Douglas plea on this, in other words, claim to be a sex addict. $3,000 a month on Internet porn, which means either Angelina Jolie now works as a webcam sex model or he joined 3,000 websites featuring pictures of celebrity nip slips (available at Splash News for free!). Then to go spank his monkey in front of a webcam, well it's just not hygienic and monitor screens are really hard to get clean (so I'm told).
When asked by the female divorce lawyer to comment on his porn habit, Cook asked her what she was wearing, was she feeling horny and would she like to see his pink love soldier on messenger.

You can tell Gwyneth was in a cheerful mood
After spending time with friend Madonna this morning, Gwyneth Paltrow decided to spend the afternoon having lunch at the Bowery Hotel's Gemma in NYC's East Village.
I can't imagine how "interesting" it must have been at Madonna's house that morning. If you need Gwyneth Paltrow for support you are in big trouble: "I brought some self-help books, including my favorite, 'Knowing Yourself Makes Myself', some Coldplay albums, my diary of poetry and my Oscar". Why does she carry her Oscar with her? The extra weight stops her from being blown away...

"I've never heard of Encino Man, honest!"
Here are some photos of Brendan Fraser, who has been out and about promoting his new film, "Journey to the Center of the Earth". It will be a busy summer for Fraser, who will also be busy promoting the latest in the Mummy series, "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor".
Apparently, if this latest installment of the Mummy is popular, there will be a fourth film. Due to be shot in 2010, it will be called "The Mummy: Curse of the Unpopular President" and will feature Fraser fighting George W and his zombie hordes. When asked to comment, Dick Cheney said "cool".
