Michelle Pfeiffer tries to conceal her 'power' !

"When I went to an audition I had to be better because I was beautiful. For the longest time I wouldn't even talk about how being beautiful got in my way, because I felt by admitting it was like giving it power."Ah I see, so that's why she's holding the scarf over her face - she's trying to not unleash her 'power!' Is Michelle sounding a little big headed, or do you think she is making a valid point? To the pretty people out there, how do you cope?

She's got a point. There are different expectations put on a person based on how they look. Beautiful folks get labeled as bitchy, super needy or unintelligent.
Why your words so meant to her! You knew that she's not such person who loves to show off. she got her point and it was talking about the movie "Frankie & johnny"!
It's very true. More often than not the average person tries to give me a difficult time because they assume I always get my way. The easy life based on my looks.
So, yeah, being above-average in the looks department has it's downside. Women are the worst. I'm always surprise when one is off-the-cuff nice or bases their response on my personality. Not intimiated by my appearance.
I agree #1.
Recently I watched a documentary called Searching For Debra Winger. It was about how a lot of actresses over the age of 40 have a hard time finding roles. It was pretty interesting.
If she WAS better she'd still be acting. Like Meryl Streep who IS.
She never could act.
Annie did you see The Age of Innocence?
If you have seen her as catwoman in Batman Returns, you KNOW she can act.
