Aqua Teen Hunger Force: "Number one in 'da jihad, G"

splashnews_shany310107m_01.jpg
The city of Boston was brought to its knees yesterday by a cartoon character flipping the bird. Signs featuring "Ignignokt," a character from the hit late-night cartoon show "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" on the cartoon network were placed at bridges, tunnels, and other key locations around the city as part of a viral marketing scheme to promote the upcoming full-length movie. Tuner Broadcasting, the parent company of The Cartoon Network, has apologized for the ploy but I doubt officials in Boston are going to let this one slide. You can't buy advertising like this. If you aren't familiar with the show, it revolves around a box of fries, a milkshake, and a wad of meat that are supposed to be fighting crime but usually just end up destroying their neighbor Carl's house, pool, or hot rod. I can't wait for the movie Picture by Daniel Shapiro

Hey Seal! Leave the 'papping' to us!

splashnews_lela310107a_01.jpg
First rule of photography? Take the lens cap off (that is prob second rule huh? First rule get a camera). Anyway, Seal showed us yesterday that he has very rarely used a camera. While testing out his new Nikon D20 Seal forgot to take the lens off until the paparazzi had notified him. Let's hope he hasn't done this while documenting the formative years of their kids! A Mother's Dying Wish "Marry Pitt"

splashnews_fabny111206a_003.jpg
The dying wish of Marcheline Bertrand, Angelina Jolie's mother, was that she marry Brad Pitt. Bertrand, who had been battling ovarian cancer for the last seven years succumbed to the disease on January 27th with Jolie and Pitt by her side at Cedars-Sinai.
"Marcheline was heavily medicated, but she was conscious for a lot of the time," says the source. "Marcheline asked Brad to take care of Angelina and the kids." "She told Angelina that her dying wish was for her to marry Brad," says the source. "Even during her darkest days over the past months, Marcheline [had urged] Angelina to marry him. Marcheline adored Brad and believed he was an angel sent into their lives to take care of Angie."(source)
Jolie has said several times that she won't marry Pitt but can she ignore her mother's dying wish? What do you think? Is there now a wedding in the future?

Kirsten Dunst at LAX airport

airport.jpg airport2.jpg
Kirsten Dunst seems to have a little admirer at LAX airport. Sadly the admirer was a keen member of staff in the female form and not a strapping hunk. Even so, when I flew internally in the US, I didn’t get hugs and a lady pushing my bags. The again I'm not a Hollywood star! More pics after the jump

Lane Garrison - also caused a Hollywood car crash

prisonbreak1.jpg
R&B star Brandy is not the first Hollywood star to get into strife behind the wheel. Prison Break star Lane Garrison (pictured top right) tested positive for booze and cocaine following a car crash that left a teenager dead. Police think the 26-year-old actor, who was behind the wheel when 17-year-old Vahaghn Setian died, should be charged with vehicular manslaughter as well as DUI. Garrison, who plays Tweener on the hit drama, was driving his Land Rover in Beverly Hills on the night of December 2 when he lost control and ploughed into a tree. His three passengers were rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Setian - a high school student - died. Two 15-year-old girls survived and Garrison suffered only minor injuries. The TV star had been twice the legal alcohol limit, under the influence of cocaine and driving above the 25mph speed limit. Chief Snowden revealed Garrison had left a party that night with the teenagers in his car and tried to buy booze at a supermarket."They left one store that turned them down because they won't sell alcohol to anybody after 11pm," he said. "They went to a separate market, purchased alcohol, came back and had the accident." Snowden said Garrison had not yet been arrested and was not in custody because cops wanted to ensure the charges were filed. Setian's parents released a statement thanking the police for their "very thorough investigation of this tragic accident". More pics after the jump
