A Bahamian judge has ruled that Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn, must stay in the Bahamas and any attempts by Howard K. Stern to take her out of the country will lead to his arrest. Anna Nicole's mother, Virgie Arthur filed the desperate application to protect Dannielynn from the clutches of Stern. This is a major victory for the the family as the Bahamian court has now acknowledged concerns over the safety of the five-month-old baby.

"We are very happy with the decision but still very worried about my granddaughter. "We will do everything to protect her. We will keep fighting until she is away from the clutches of that man."

She will now push for Dannielynn to be handed over to social services until her paternity is resolved. The next court battle for Virgie will be to whom the body of Anna Nicole will be released.as she has filed an injunction in Florida that as Anna's next of kin the body should be released to her and not Stern. Stern is adamant that Anna wanted to be buried next to her son Daniel in the Bahamas while Virgie wants to take her body back to Texas.
