On two occasions during my employment Ms Marshall attempted to commit suicide. On the first occasion she drank in my presence an entire bottle of what I believed to be a liquid sleeping aid. In any event the consequence was that Ms Marshall was in an unrousable coma for 48 hours. When she recovered she was very sick and ill with diarrhea and I asked her why she had drunk the liquid. She replied 'I wanted to die - I meant to kill myself. It went very quiet after a while and I asked where she was and Ms Marshall was found in the swimming pool. She had tried to drown herself." The nanny said that she was left puzzled by a comment made by Anna Nicole's boyfriend when he pulled her out of the pool.
