Paris Hilton is suing a website where visitors can pay to peek at her home videos, diaries and copies of her passport. She claims parisexposed.com has invaded her privacy. The website contains a digital catalog of Hilton's stuff, which can be viewed for $39.95 a month.
The items, including goofy photos, videos, medical documents and taped conversations, were auctioned off in February 2005 after the socialite failed to pay her storage fees. The belongings were apparently purchased by Persa for a staggering $10 million. The Simple Life star says the belongings were put into storage two years ago after she and sister Nicky moved out of a house which had been burgled. Hilton, 25, claims a removal company was supposed to pay the storage fees and says she was "shocked and surprised" to learn the items were being sold at a public auction."I was appalled to learn that people are exploiting me and my sister's private personal belongings for commercial gain," She said she was concerned that information on the site could be used to "steal my identity, or even worse, to harass or stalk me." The lawsuit asks for a court order to shut down the site.
