Matt Damon continues to keep Ben Affleck relevant

I felt really threatened by him because he'd done a television series - an educational program called 'The Voyage of The Mimi. And he suddenly came to my high school and you know... I always got the leads in the plays in high school and here was this kid who was coming out of TV and I was very threatened by him.It might be just me but without Damon constantly name dropping him, do you think Ben Affleck would have disappeared a long time ago?
I cant help it but I love matt damon.

What a terrible thought! Ben Affleck disappearing - he must NEVER disappear! Can't live without him. He is fantastic in Forces of Nature, Bounce, Glory Daze, Pearl Harbor, Hollywoodland and not to mention GIGLI! So you just shut up - you ignorant!!! ;-P
I've had the pleasure of meeting Ben Affleck when I worked on the set of Jersey Girl. Everyone on the production team said that he was the kindest and nicest celebrity they've ever worked with. And I agree with them. Ben was always polite to to the staff, always pleasant and was never demanding. He knew all of us by our first names.
HE is an articulate, very smart man who has done nothing wrong to you people. PErhaps he has made some wrong career decisions, but to continuously mock and insult him is uncalled for and way out of line. Just because some people have had more luck than him in the past years doesn't make Ben any less of the good man that he is.
I would understand the negative news on the Britneys and the Hiltons of the world, but to ridicule Ben Affleck, who has been trying to live a decent and quiet married life? You should be ashamed of yourselves.
I love Ben! I agree with you Dee, he is a good, smart and decent man.
He has no pretentious bone in his body.
