Did these two share the same make up artists? Or get carried away powdering each other’s noses in the loo? Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet looked like Geisha's as they posed on the red carpet at the Golden Globes last night. Cameron stood out most, as she was looking considerably pale compared to her usual glowing tan. I don’t think the red lipstick looked sexy on either of the pair. Luckily their cute white dresses saved them from disaster. Although I would love to pull that ruffle from Cameron's shoulder.

The Brits have conquered Hollywood after scooping an amazing NINE awards at the Golden Globes. From movies to TV, the Brits swept the board, winning category after category at the 64th annual awards ceremony. Dame Helen Mirren led the pack, winning the two top actress awards for playing two different queens. Jeremy Irons took home an award for his role in 'Elizabeth I.' British newcomer Emily Blunt won Best Performance for her role in Gideon's Daughter. Bill Nighy took an award for Best Performance for Gideon's Gaughter. Hugh Laurie won Best Performance for House. Screenwriter Peter Morgan won Best Screenplay Motion Picture for The Queen. Sacha Baron Cohen won an award for Borat. The producers of Elizabeth II also won for Best Mini-Series Or Motion Picture Made For Television.

I had intended to live blog the Golden Globes or at the very least live blog the tape delayed West Coast feed but because I was unable to log-in to Blogger, which, I should have assumed was going to happen because the piece of crap site is a strict follower of Murphy's Law. So instead of me typing 'Suck on that Beyonce' when Jennifer Hudson won the award for best supporting actress I instead watched 24 (which shreds). This runs my streak of never watching an award show to like 280 in row.
After tonight we are 4 hours into 24, are you watching? Like it? Love it? A hardcore follower or one of those lame people that say that they can't get into it because the story line just isn't realistic?

We were talking about the Golden Globes today and a very astute co-worker pointed out that Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston could all be in the same place at the same time!
Brad is up for an award for Best Supporting Actor and two movies that he is listed as a producer of,
The Departed and
Running With Scissors, also are nominated, so one would assume that Pitt would take Jolie as his date for the evening. As for Aniston, she is not nominated for an award but she is fresh off picking up a Critics Choice award and an appearance on the red carpet would create a ton of buzz and drama perfect for all the pre-award show interviews.
So what do you think? Will all three show up tonight?

Is Beckham really coming to the Los Angeles to break into acting? Giorgio Armani thinks so:
'If (reports that the deal is worth $250 million) are true, then he has done the right thing. And I think he wants to be an actor, not a footballer,' Armani, who has designed the England soccer team's outfits in recent years, told reporters on the sidelines of Milan's fashion shows. 'He is a very handsome man and his football career could be nearing an end,' he said. 'Also look at his wife...I saw her at Tom Cruise's wedding and she is a very bubbly lady,' he said. (Reuters)
Just like the many silent era movie stars that lost their jobs because their voices were not suitable for the 'talkies,' I don't see Beckham's high pitched Jacko/Tyson voice getting him any speaking work. Good looks or not.
