While Beyonce is making the 'rounds around the world' for the separate premieres of Dreamgirls her father is pulling the race card to explain why his daughter didn't take home an award during the Golden Globes, Starpulse reports:

Beyoncé Knowles’ father Mathew is furious the superstar was overlooked at the Golden Globe Awards, accusing the film industry of discriminating against blacks. The singer-turned-actress failed to pick up a single nomination for her role in Dreamgirls, and - despite Golden Globe wins for African-Americans Forest Whitaker, Eddie Murphy, Prince, Jennifer Hudson and the movie itself - Knowles blames his daughter’s omission on racism. He told reporters after the ceremony on Monday, “Today is MLK’s (Martin Luther King’s) birthday and it saddens me to say that things have not changed for blacks. Working class blacks and blacks in Hollywood are still being discriminated against. We still have a long way to go.”

So losing out to Prince is racist? Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy, and Forest Whitaker taking home awards is racist? Dude, if you are going to pull the race card at least do a little research beforehand. Her father needs keep his mouth shut or he may soon be kicked off the 'gravy train.'

Jessica Simpson looked a little on the glum side as she shopped with her sister Ashlee yesterday. The pair spent the afternoon at the popular Barney's Of New York in Beverly Hills. Perhaps Jessica was fed up with herself, for choosing to leave the house in a red baggy patchwork shirt. Come on Jessica, if you're going to keep up with your hotter younger sister, you've got to do better than that!

Victoria Beckham was spotted nibbling on her American Express card yesterday, as the rainbow from her pot of gold landed her in The Grove, shopping again. With money to burn, Victoria picked up some bits in Kitson and Abercrombie and Fitch. It was her last spree in LA, and an end to her whirlwind 5-day stay. Victoria later said goodbye to her soon-to-be home, as she boarded a flight for London from LAX Airport.
