Did you watch 'Dirt?'

What do you think of paparazzi hater Courteney Cox and her take on the celebrity news industry with her show 'Dirt?' Is this how you pictured the tabloid business? Think it is this cut throat and shady? Or is this just a vehicle for the Cox-Arquette family to get at back the people that made them a star? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
Update: After sleeping on the show I only have a couple of thoughts. As with any TV show, the ultimate decider is ratings and to achieve ratings, shows take subject matter to extremes, that at their basic level are true but wildly blow them out of proportion. I also feel that Cox is really trying to make a statement about the state of Hollywood, celebrities, fans, and the industry as a whole which is incredibly biased due to her feelings and actions toward the paparazzi and the tabs. The show was entertaining but whatever truth or credibility that it was trying for was negated by kooky characters insane plot twists. Saying that, I will be watching next week. What do you think? Am I on track? Is she trying to say something about her career, Jennifer Aniston's career, or even her husband David's 'weird' career choices?
Terrible show. I thought she could act but that was so bad.
Terrible show. She was such a bad actress.
The hype and advertising leading up to the show was great.But... the show its self SUCKED.I was expecting much, much better from her.
I enjoyed the show. It is obviously dramatized to make it more interesting. It is as much about the gossip biz as Nip Tuck is about the plastic surgery biz.p.s. Courtney, lay off the Botox!
i havent watched it yet but these comments above arent giving me much hope..is it just plain terrible or so bad its good?! That at least would be something
I think it was really good...it has that same style of nip tuck
Tom, great comparison to Nip/Tuck. dead on.
I too was reminded of Nip/Tuck. The men on it were smokin HOT. She looks the best I've ever seen her. Never watched Friends so I don't care about her "acting". I think it's a fun fluff show.
"fun FluFF" show ...perfect way to describe it.....ill watch it again nxt week
Bad TV is bad TV, plain and simple. And this show blows. Big disappointment.
Courtney Cox so looks painted and false now. I saw Diane Keaton on Oprah! a while back. (She doesn't do Botox or plastic surgery.) She told this funny story about how she briefly thought women she met at LA parties must think she was strange because they would stare at her, no matter what she did or said, with a neutral, straight-faced expression. It took her a while to realize it was only that their facial muscles, which were now always paralyzed from Botox injections, no longer made the subtle expressions of interest or encouragement we take for granted in social conversation. I wonder if she had talked to Courtney Cox before the Oprah interview.
I really liked the show. I'll definitely be watching nex week...season pass on my TiVo.
i LOVED that show!!! I thought it lived up to the hype and cant wait to watch it next week!!!
it was a great show! love courtney cox
Ok Bluecarpool.. THe ? was did u like the show.........so What was your answer????????????????
Show was entertaining. feel for the schitz photog tho. Not looking forward to the episode where they kick his ass. Tabs didn't make anyone a Star, Friends did and her work before hell. You talk about Paris more than anyone else. Now she, you made a star.
Amazing show, even better than I expected. I can't wait to watch again tomorrow. Courteney is such a good actress.
Okay, it is just me or does her head and neck look abnormally long? They both look about a foot longer than they should be. And where did she get that dress, "Forever 21"? What's up with those Payless, grandma sandals and racoon eyes? Her stylist should be FIRED.
i love DIRT!!!!it is a great show! and courteney is a very good actress!!!
courteney is a great actress, she plays these kind of roles so good, she is the only friends cast member who can actually play more then just comedy, love her and the show!
