Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie moving to New Orleans?

Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie leaving Hollywood for the hurricane ravaged (and crime riddled) city of new Orleans? According to an interview with US Magazine the couple has
plans to move south in a bid to gain more privacy and to raise awareness for the region as Pitt along with Global Green USA have commissioned the construction of 20 environment-friendly homes.
'We love it there,' Jolie told Us at the Golden Globe Awards after confirming the move. 'The kids are going to go to school there. We're really looking forward to it.'Word is that Jolie and Pit have bought a $3.5 million six-bedroom house in the French Quarter and that Jolie has already looked into doing charity work at a school for disadvantaged youth. Moving out of Los Angeles to escape the paparazzi? I'll I can say is 'See you guys in the Big Easy!'

Brangelina just because you have security and an entourage don't think you'll be safe and immune to our home bred street thugs. If they can murder Helen Hill in her living room at five in the morning in the exact same neighborhood where you bought your 3.5million house while her husband and 2 yr old son sleep down the hall they will and can get you. New Olreans criminals don't discriminate. They are the most dangerous of them all. BEWARE
If New Orleans ia another country I hope so.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Don't leave!!!!
*sniffle*
shit, now all we have is posh spice and the bloody scientologists.
Are they there until the movie ends? I used to live in Naw'lins --full of crime, drugs, and voodoo. Maybe that's what they're into --just be careful folks and with your little ones.
Are there any pictures of these two perfect people where she is not turned away from him? It's odd. That's all I'm saying.
Yeah, Yeah...
We know why you're Anonymous, dawlin'~
Because you live where?
Nebraska/Alaska/Idaho/Ohio?
AM I GETTIN' CLOSE?
Meanwhile . . .
our families left France/Spain/
Ireland/Chicago/
Alabama/
Mississippi/
etc.
to live, work, marry and prosper in New Orleans since the 1700's . . .
Without a single mugging/rape/murder, stolen car/horse to confess to or report, by the way...
Yep...it's true . . .
Sorry to disappoint anyone who's agorophobic--
but you've no idea what you lost by not venturing beyond the virual world of your computer, buddy;
Like never knowin' what it means to miss New Orleans~
Riding the street-car down St. Charles Avenue when the Azalea's are so huge they outshine the 200 year old Live Oaks & $$$$ mansions along the way . . .
Heading back after a night of partying,
to your dorm at Tulane or Loyola U~
Where your parents spend about
$40-50,000.00 tuition a year to send you . . .
For an education that history and reputation has proven unexcelled~
Maybe you'll stop at Camellia Grill: home of the only Pecan Waffle on earth worth waiting in line for, before calling it a night . . .
Then, wake up and stroll down Marengo Street off Napoleon in the cool of early morning when folks are sittin' out on their steps or porch . . .
readin' the Times-Picayune.
Lookin' up to meet your eyes with
"Good Mornin' . . . "
and not a shade of paranoia polluting the air between you.
These days,it's what?
PC?
Cool?
To slur and slash New Orleans . . . ?
(By the way, that's the definition of prejudice: to generalize from a specific.).
And disrespect those whose hearts & history are bigger/longer than your demographics will ever be . . . ?
Those folks who continue to love a state of mind called HOME . . . ?
All because a little thing like funding "an unbreachable levee"
defied the scope of THE LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD: American President Bush?
Who is now "Rebuilding" the ancient civilization of Iraq...?
Which he himself ordered bombed into the stone age?
Yes...America & the world will survive and renew a small, fragile planet it took Bush/Rove/Cheney so few years to destroy ...
And a small example is that N'Awlin's remains a place of beauty, joy, mystery,
diversity,laughter,and eternal love.
Just ask any of the countless folks who came for Mardi Gras or the Jazz Fest forty years ago and never quite managed to leave . . .
'
Hmmmm . . . someone could become leader of the free world with stats like that, eh?
You KNOW IT, BABY . . . !

Anon., I hear you about crime in New Orleans. I just learned who Helen Hill was and it’s a blow to women artists everywhere. (BTW, reports I’ve read say that Hill & her family lived in Fauborg Marigny, not the French Quarter – where crime is a bit lower - where the Pitt-Jolies live.) Crime is the worst in New Orleans but crime is everywhere - in New York where first time director Adrienne Shelley (Waitress) was murdered by a construction worker just before her film opened, and in San Francisco and Oakland, where I live. We have home invasions and street crime too. The point is that, even though they’re celebrities, Angelina & Brad aren’t naifs – they’re keenly intelligent and aware of everything involved with their activities. They are as protective of their kids as any other parent, and won’t take unnecessary risks. Both Brad & Angelina have been to dangerous war zones. I don’t think they’re taking living in NOLA lightly or blithely or in any kind of kumbaya way.
