The sad news came over the weekend that Angelina Jolie lost her mother to cancer over the weekend. At a young age of just 56, Marcheline Bertrand passed away on Saturday afternoon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. According to the press release, Jolie, her brother and Brad were at her bedside. A private funeral has been planned and in lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Women's Cancer Research Institute at Cedars-Sinai.
