One could get all philosophical and say that it's hard enough for 'normal' couples to make a marriage work, but when you add the pressure of having your private life become public then factor in the egos (big and fragile) actors have, it's a disaster waiting to happen.

They got married so young.......this doesn't surpsrise me. The ones that surprise me are the couples who last MORE than 10 years in Hollywood.They are the ones to applaud.......I remember when Brad and Jen wre married ONE YEAR and they were on the cover of People......"How do they make it work?"I laughed....how about Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, or Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick? Sad. I liked them together. I wanted to believe that they were happy but seriously they have so many strikes against them with the being apart all the time filming, married way too young, very different personalities and the pressure of fame I'm not surprised. I hope they find happiness on the next go round. They are sadly so much older and wiser now.
