Please. There's no such thing as brainwashing. I bet you have read a couple of internet sites about it, and now think of yourself as a specialist. I wonder if you can think for yourself. Scientology routinely ropes people in who are at the end of their ropes, lost, without direction, or depressed telling them all the answers they will ever need are in Scientolgy. Tom and Katie are always followed with a comment about Scientology because Tom and Scientology are ridiculous. Scientology isn't a religion either. If I was engaged to Tom, my parents would NEVER allow a marriage. All scientologists should be institutionalized. As for all the comments about Scientology "stealing" its members' money, that's not true. The money is freely given. Think of it like a sorority or a fraternity. Only difference is that scientology members are paying to be "pure" or "enlightened".

Scientologists routinely take out lines of credit or raise credit limits on members who cannot afford to do to the next level. after the free auditing session things get incredibly pricey and if you can't pay, you can't be audidted, cleansed, etc. Only option is for them to go behind your back and lie to your credit card companies or banks that you need to extend your limits to pay for school or you are enrolled into the seaorg where you live a meager existence, living on rice and beans, and paying your dues through slave labor.

It's rare that you get a husband and wife team who are as equally attractive and photogenic as these two.

my house sometimes gets scientology mail bc whoever lived there before us was a scientologist...and if it's not a cult, why would they send out a survey with the following questions on it:Do you have a criminal history of any kind?Have you ever had psychiatric treatment?Are you or anyone in your immediate family connected to or have you ever been connected to intelligence agencies?Do you have a parent or guardian who is a rabid antagonist of Scientology? Those seem like some pretty suspicious questions to me...no rabbi has ever asked me if my parents are members of the FBI
