Irwin, the Australian television personality and environmentalist known as the 'Crocodile Hunter, has been killed by a stingray during a diving expedition. He was 44. According to Australian Associated Press, Irwin is believed to have been killed by a stingray barb that went through his chest. He was filming an underwater documentary off Port Douglas when the accident occurred says AAP. His American-born wife Terri was reported to be trekking in Tasmania at the time of the incident. My thoughts go out to his wife and young children.

After he had kids he shouldn't have kept doing such dangerous stuff...selfish. But this is the same guy who dangled his infant son in front of a crocodile for a publicity stunt a few years ago. I wonder if he had life insurance, what company would take on that risk. Very sad.

the baby thing wasnt that bad, it looked worse than it actually did. just a sad day, the guy did a lot for animal awarness and prob saved thousands of animals around the world
