Pirates of the Caribbean has been filming the next installment in the trilogy off the coast of Redondo Beach, CA for the past week and Johnny Depp has been so kind as to hold autograph sessions for all of his adoring fans. I live just a few blocks away so I rode my bike down and attempted to get some pictures but got there as it was ending. I have one piece of advice for everyone out there, DO NOT get between a mob of 11-15 year old girls and Johnny Depp. Do whatever it takes to get out of there. After the signing ended I was in the unenviable position between them and his limo. Getting trampled by underage girls is not exactly how that fantasy works out and going back to grab my flip-flops that fell off did nothing to reaffirm my status as a man. Now you know why I sit in the office and do this instead of pounding the pavement. If you are a more adventurous soul than I, make sure to check out People Paparazzi and don't let another celebrity pass you by.

If you are in Japan do everything you can to avoid the subway if you want to keep your eyesight. Britney's Harper's Bazaar cover of her pregnant and nude has been plastered everywhere to ensure maximum eye burning. In other news, Tokyo was covered in a very fine orange dust that at first reports is thought to be Cheetos crumbs.

Unless you want to be besieged by fans and the paparazzi. Did ABC send out a little memo to its' Desperate Housewives stars asking them to be seen out in public more often after the poor showing in this years Emmy's? Who knows but the food at The Ivy is not this good.

Paris Hilton's self-titled debut CD 'Paris' is not exactly performing very well. It's supposedly at the bottom of the Billboard chart but since I am not a subscriber all I can tell you is her 'Star's Are Blind' single is sitting at #49 on the 'Hot 100' and the album isn't even listed in the Top 100. Bravo to you the American consumer, bravo. Corporations, movie stars, and socialite's think we will buy anything but it looks like we draw the line at our ears bleeding. Now if we could all band together and do something about those pesky Scientologist's.

Talk about diversity at New York City club 'Butter.' Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas, PuffyDiddy, David Blaine and even Penelope Cruz with a mystery man. In LA we only get the same crowd of blonde haired girls intermixed with a random celebrity that dyed her hair for a 'role' (role meaning 'I need to get noticed'). More pics after the jump!
