Yesterday, actress Winona Ryder was rushed to the hospital following her flight from Los Angeles to London. The original Tim Burton muse reportedly fell ill on her British Airways flight, collapsing twice in the first class cabin, and was rushed to a West London hospital immediately after landing at Heathrow airport.

Originally it was called just a case of air sickness but now the Sun newspaper in the UK is saying that the Edward Scissor Hands star possibly overdosed on prescription pills.

It is believed she mistakenly took too many Xanax pills -- used to treat anxiety. One passenger said: "She turned a deathly shade of pale. It was scary."

The Boeing 747's captain requested a "priority landing" and touched down 22 minutes early at 11.13am. Winona...was rushed to Hillingdon Hospital where she was checked in under a false name...and her stomach was pumped.

It is thought that Winona suffers from a fear of flying and was using the the anti-anxiety drug to help her through the 10-hour flight. This wouldn't be Ryder's first bout with prescription drugs. When she was arrested in 2002 for shoplifting, The Age of Innocence star was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs. The charges were later dropped after the defense produced a doctors prescription.

Before the media even had a chance to takes sides Madonna and Guy Ritchie have reportedly reached a settlement in their divorce - with the director walking away without so much as a whiff of the singers $450 million fortune.

A source close to the couple says Guy didn't want anything from his wife of 8 years and was only concerned about the welfare of their 3 children, Lourdes, Rocco and David. It's believed that Lourdes, who's father is personal trainer/actor Carlos Leon, will stay in NYC with her mother, while the boys will reside with their father/adoptive father in the UK. 

Fortunately the pair were amicable enough not to repeat the public onslaught witnessed between high profile couple Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills, which saw Mills walk away with a cool $50 million. 

So with the full details of the settlement to be released by the end of the month, it looks as though Madonna can continue to pound on the treadmill in a bid to defy death, and Guy will prove his lot directing Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law (pictured here today).
