Hugh Laurie and The Dark Knight were the big winners at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards. Laurie landed the Favourite Male TV Star award for his role as Dr Gregory House in medical drama, House. And the show also won the Favourite TV Drama category.
The Dark Knight, meanwhile, which stars the late Heath Ledger, landed a total of five gongs in the ceremony held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The awards are voted for by fans and Queen Latifah hosted the televised event. Attendees included;
Reese Witherspoon, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi, Paris Hilton, Katherine Heigl, Kate Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Christina Applegate, Jennifer Morrison, Jessica Stroup, Jewel, Debra Messing, Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Anna Lynne McCord and Shenae Grimes.

Forty eight hours later and the Defiance cast have left a very chilly London for the delights of Paris! Liev Schreiber, Daniel Craig and director Edward Zwick were all snapped on the red carpet last night, as they continued their promotional tour around the globe. And as always, supportive film producer Satsuki Mitchell was glued to Daniel's side. More inside our gallery.

Jessica Alba might have loved her new Andy Lecompte bob and blow-out, but she certainly wasn't letting on here! The actress was seen toting goodies in West Hollywood after her trip to the salon, and she kept those shades on and her head down. It looks like husband Cash Warren couldn't hold back his appreciation for her new 'do, though. . . just check out the pics after the jump of him running to greet her in his spiffy chinos.
As stylish as it looks, I'm thinking Jessica probably got the cut as a no-nonsense mom thing. Secretly, of course.

Pete Wentz admitted to
Blender mag, on newsstands January 13th, that he "pops Ambien like Tropical Skittles" and is lucky to get even three hours of sleep a night.
FOX News reports that the Fall Out Boy showed up to speak to the magazine half an hour late, and with dark rings beneath his eyes and a striking pallor. There's that, and his "extreme paranoia," FOX says:
We're told the bassist was in his kitchen when he saw a man in the security monitor scaling the fence, prompting him to run outside. Wentz claimed the intruder then hopped in his car and sped off, smashing the Range Rover on the way.

. . . The sight of a royal like Princess Eugenie of York totally thrills you! It's a little embarrassing to admit, but my favorite "Just Like Us!" moments are when we spot people like princesses doing things like going out and getting into black cabs post-party.
Eugenie was photographed leaving Boujis in South Kensington yesterday at 2:45 a.m., and word has it she started the night off at the Hoop & Toy pub just before midnight. How can she seem so normal? It boggles the mind.
