Jean-Claude Van Damme has a new movie premiering at the Cannes Film Festival (is it just me or does Cannes let just about anybody in nowadays?) called 'Codename: J.C.V.D.' and he took to his hotel balcony to desperately show the world that he's still the 'Muscles from Brussels.'

From what I have been able to piece together is that Van Damme plays himself, an aging action star, who is caught in the middle of a real robbery and must chose between being Van Damme the actor or becoming the action hero he plays in the movies. If you know more about the film (there is no storyline or plot info on IMDB) leave it in the comments.

Van Damme the actor has previously tried to be the hero he plays on the big screen which ended with him laying unconscious on the floor of Scores Strip Club in New York City courtesy of a Chuck Zito right hook.

Lets hope the film studio ignored that little bit of factual history or this is going to be one short movie.

And Liv Tyler was living proof of this as she dazzled her awaiting fans on Late Show with Letterman yesterday. The gorgeous Lord Of The Rings actress arrived in a low cut dress, with just her mentionable's covered in sheer piece of lace. She left hearts racing as the silk gown clung to her every curve. Angelina Jolie ditched her loose flowing maxi dresses in favor of a suit yesterday as she arrived  at the Changeling photo call in Cannes. Her all in black combo didn't dampen her pregnancy glow and the growing actress looked as strong as ever while parading her bump to the awaiting media and fans. As she tottered around in high heels, you could almost forget she is carrying twins!! What a woman.

Note the two police men in the back - obviously all duties are put on hold when you have the chance to snap a beauty like Jolie!

This is the $25.8m beach front estate owned by actor Mel Gibson in Samara, in the region of Guanacaste, in Costa Rica, where Britney Spears has spent a holiday with her dad and friends. 

It boasts three main buildings within 163 hectares of tropical forest. Two of the houses have swimming pools and are used as housing for Gibson, his family or guests, with a third building - featuring a cross-shaped roof - located in between. 

The views also show Barrigona beach and a close up of the area where guests at the estate enjoy the beach, from where a trail leads back towards the houses. The front gate can also be seen. Aerial views of the town centre of Samara, where Gibson has been seen out and about, and the tiny airstrip of Carrillo, where guests' private planes land, are also included.
