Hilary Duff was looking like quite the happy party-goer last night as she came out of Villa nightclub along with Nicky Hilton. Who, I must say, was not looking half as happy as her counterpart-- maybe it's just because she ran into the paparazzi a heck of a lot more than Hilary these past few days. I hope she slept in today and kept things low-key this time around, so she can be nicer to us the next time around.

It was a regular celebrity fest on the Malibu beachfront for the fourth of July, this time with Rosario Dawson looking hot on the sand, where she socialized with the likes of Kate Beckinsale, David Thewlis, and Anna Friel. It looks like a glorious time to be out and about in California.
Rosario might look like she's just chilling out here, but she does have child-rearing on the brain-- Jessica Alba's, that is. The actress recently admitted that she imagines Jessica Alba to be a disciplined, strong mom, and that 'She'll be really attentive and really strong and she'll be a great role model."

whole celebrity crowd. And yes, it does look like she's doing something like dancing, or something even cooler, since she's pretty eccentric and girl's got a vibe going on. Forget Kate, Rosario, or anyone else-- I want to party with Leelee!

Yay! I love seeing Jennifer Love Hewitt so happy on the fourth-- you know her track record when the paps are around. As Jennifer and Ross McCall walked over to the usual beginning-of-July neighborhood barbecue, they actually (gasp!) stopped by for Jennifer to wave her flag a little in a patriotic, friendly moment. I love it!
Ross, though Scottish, look like he was loving the 4th as well.

David Spade, flanked by two blondes, was spotted coming out of Anouk in Malibu, but. . . he actually looks pretty good. Okay, maybe not hot, per se, but scruffy and good-looking regardless. After chatting with locals, David headed off to his beach house with his friends. I like him a lot more after his low-key day out, actually!

Jaime Pressley rescued the opening of the
Christian Audigier Nightclub at the Treasure Island Resort Las Vegas with her hotness: besides her, there were these super sorry-looking (and slightly skanky) pirates posing it up on the red carpet along with a smattering of other celebs. Jaime definitely gets the prize for the Best Dressed, though!
