David Beckham made his much anticipated debut for AC Milan in a friendly against Hamburg SV held in Dubai. On loan from the LA Galaxy so he can stay in shape and in contention for a spot on the English national team, Becks played the first half with wife Victoria and his three boys, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz cheering from the stands.

"To me he gave a very good impression," said Milan's coach Carlo Ancelotti. "Dynamic quality and also he is an intelligent player."

"Obviously he is not at his maximum because for two months he didn't do anything but he had a good week with us and now he is in a good condition and can make a good contribution to the team."
